"Can't wait to return!"
I made a whistle-stop visit to Tallin and now I can't wait to return to explore properly this wonderful, fascinating city! There is so much more to it than I expected. I will definitely return to the Uniquestay Mihkli too, which is in good walking distance of the old town. It was all newly refurbished and my room, one of the Zen rooms, was lovely. It was great to be able to access e-mails from the room and there was also a fabulous jacussi bath (and, I must say, one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in!!) Although the furnishings are modern, there's a great style to everything - definitely not your normal, predictable, hotel decor. I was really impressed by the staff too - they were all friendly and helpful, with a good understanding of English (a big bonus for someone who only managed to learn one Estonian word). Breakfast was very good, with lots of choice, hot and cold, and plenty of it!
Looking forward to the next time......

"Another great stay"
This was my second stay at the Mihkli. I had previously stayed at the other Uniquestay hotel a short distance away.
As on my other trips the staff and management of the hotel couldnt have done more to ensure that I had a wonderful trip.
The hotel is very well situated to see the beautiful city of Tallinn, anyone who hasnt been should put it on their to do list.
The Mihkli has a intimate and warm atmosphere, the rooms are spacious and bright and I would highly recomend upgrading to one of the Zen rooms. The food was very good with a wide selection of dishes and was great value.
I booked my stay directly with the Mihkli and they arranged everything from picking us up from the airport to suggesting the best places to see. It certainly wont be long before we return.

"April 2007 in Tallin"
I am a return guest to the Mihkli Hotel and arrived for my second stay in April on the night the protests started over Tallins controverial war memorial.
The hotel is a short walk to the town center and the path took me past the memorial.
I noticed despite the disturbance neither side had any interest in harrasing foreign visitors, it was completely a local issue.
The hotel has a large breakfast hall catering to light continental and heavy english tastes.
MY Room was one of the smaller ones but most importantly clean and comfortable with a continuously functioning free Internet.
Since my last visit the lower floor Sauna and sports facility has been completed. As i was suffering from a cold the free morning Sauna and Sun room was much appreciated.
I was suprised to see the facilities in the Free Sauna include a lockers already laid out with fresh towels so there is no need to use your Room towel.

"Tallinn what a great place , super hotel"
First time to Tallinn, not the last! booked a Zen room, jacuzzi and computer :) location really good for the sights and English breakfast.
Smiley staff helped as the weather was a bit overcast. some signs that the hotel has been revamped outside ie building stuff but i am sure it is gone now.
Overall faultless,

"Excellent value"
Having stayed here in 2006 I was delighted to see that the hotel is being totally modernised.
There may be some building work on site if going there in the near future but dont worry it does not interfere with your stay.
Rooms are now very clean and comfortable with free internet, tea and coffee and TV.
The old town is about a 15 min walk or 5 mins in a taxi.
Breakfast is ample and will set you up for the day.
Very good value for B&B but watch the prices in the bar!

"Really warm and friendly"
Just stayed at the hotel , and after reading the previous reviews I was really surprised , the hotel and my room was really nice and warm. The hotel has one floor shut for renovation but I did not see or hear anything , all the rest of the hotel is spanking new , and smiles from the staff ! Breakfast really really good and I had a computer and internet in my room
The hotel sauna is not ready, they said in a couple of weeks , but they gave me free use of the sauna in the sister hotel 5 minutes away –no problem
Good location near the old town and I only paid 70 euros , a bargain.
The Old Town is a fantastic romantic setting.
