"Mixed feelings"
Tallinn is fantastic, and this hotel has much to recommend it - it's in a charming historic building, in a good location, and it boasts some high-class features. But there are negatives: the total lack of sound insulation, the slightly feckless service (like our busboy not having a clue how to get to our room), the somewhat eccentric arrangement in the bathroom whereby the shower flooded the floor. The room was very appealing, with lots of character, excellent TV options, a seriously comfortable bed and a good sofa, but for a hotel at this price level there were a few surprising traces of amateurism.

"Medieval meets boutique"
I stayed in room 10 in the courtyard under the wall and loved every minute of it. The staff made me feel very welcome when I checked in and were extremely helpful when the green fairy allowed me to miss my flight the following week.
The bed was very large and comfortable. The hardwood floors were very nice. The room size was very large. The bathroom was OK. Breakfast offered a large assortment of high quality food and the hotel provided faxed newspapers in four or five laugnages.
Would definitely want to stay here again.

"Charming hotel in a lovely city"
The Three Sisters hotel is not a design hotel, it's a small boutique hotel with a lot of charm.
Within walking distance of the beautiful old town square (10-15 minutes), it's inside the walls of Tallinn (I recommend to stay in the old town to fully appreciate Tallinn, a fairy tale city of the middle age).
Comfortable with a very pleasant service, the three sisters hotel is peaceful and relaxing (I personally prefer design hotels with music, bar and so on, but it you like charming hotels, the Three Sisters is for you!).
Recommended.

"The Three Sisters Hotel -best 5* hotel!"
My husband and I are just home from a wonderful weekend in The Three Sisters hotel. This is a fabulous 5* hotel, on the edge of the old town. The staff were all so friendly and very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. The bedroom we had was fabulous, with amazing furnishings and fittings. When booking, ask for a room with a
balcony!
Breakfast was lovely, hot food all freshly cooked to order -no hot plates here! Dinner was just gorgeous, food was excellent as was the wine list, which my husband drooled over! Again, the staff were very professional, but friendly. As for Tallinn -would I go back? Maybe, maybe not!

Great little hotel
I have just returned from a wonderful two night stay at the Three Sisters. The room was large and comfortable and an excellent mix of old and new. The restoration of the three buildings has been done so tastefully and with such style...I would recommend this hotel to anyone for a short break in Tallinn.
It is only a short walk from the main square, the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, we had a complimentary transfer to the airport and the breakfast was great. The whole atmosphere is very relaxed. A great little find! |
