Scandic St. Barbara is located in the centre of Tallinn, just a block away from the main square and within a few minutes' walk of the business and shopping districts.

The building is considered to be one of the most beautiful limestone buildings in Tallinn. The hotel has 53 spacious guest rooms, including rooms that are ideal for families with children. Hotel facilities include two meeting rooms and a Bavarian-style restaurant.

This Hotel is just a block away from the Main square and within 2 min walking distance from the Old Town, business and shopping districts. 2 km to the bus station, port and railway station. 5 km to Tallinn Airport.

Dine with Baieri Kelder to enjoy well-prepared German cuisine with the finest selection of draught beers. The restaurant is situated on the vaulted basement floor, with an open fireplace in one of the vaulted halls. Separate sections called Master's Chamber and Small Chamber are available for private gatherings.

"Great Location"
My daughter and I stayed here in May, 2003, for 4 nights. We found the location to be excellent. Just a short walk to Old Town and other conveniences (shops, casino, etc.). The staff was friendly and helpful. The elevator worked fine. The room was small, but this was Europe so we expected this. The restaurant downstairs had a GREAT breakfast spread every morning. The price was good for what we got in return. The last night there, we had a family reunion in the restaurant bar. That was also great. I think the staff spoke at least some English but I am not very sure since I spoke Estonian. I would definitely stay here again. I had previously stayed at Hotel central. That was adequate but I enjoyed this hotel much more. I am willing to respond to any questions travelers might have concerning the hotel.

We spent three nights at the St. Barbara in June 2005 and were very pleased. The hotel is just south of the Old Town and an easy 10 minute walk to the main square of the Old Town. Sights and restaurants are an easy stroll from the hotel. The rooms were very neat and clean although small. The breakfast buffet was very good--good quality and the most variety we saw on our trip. We would definitely stay here again.

If this is your first time in Tallinn, the Scandic St. Barbara is ideal. Wonderful breakfast buffet is included. The German restaurant is yummy and easy on the wallet. Terrific location - close to numerous restaurants and Old Town. Front desk service is TOP NOTCH!!!
